Abstract:
PURPOSE: To allow the device to function to improve picture quality of a reproduced picture at a region with a high degree of notice.
CONSTITUTION: A frame number signal I13 from a frame counter I101 and a block number signal I15 from a block counter I103 are compared by a coincidence detection circuit I105, which outputs a coincidence/incoincidence signal I17 to an OR circuit 107. A correction circuit 104 converts the block number signal I15 from the block counter I103 into a block number signal II16, which is outputted. The signal II16 and a frame number signal II14 from the frame counter II102 are inputted to a coincidence detection circuit II106, which compares them and outputs a coincidence/incoincidence signal II18, and it is inputted to the OR circuit 107. The OR circuit outputs an in-frame switching signal when any of the signals I17, II18 is a coincidence signal and outputs an inter-frame switching signal when any of the signals I17, II18 is an incoincidence signal. That is, a block receiving an in-frame/inter-frame switching signal 19 being the in-frame signal is a refresh block.
