To provide a mudflap for reducing air resistance effectively.
The mudflap 11 includes a mudflap body 21 and ridges 31. The mudflap body 21, which is of roughly a flexible rectangular plate shape, is fixed to a vehicle body 51 at its upper part and droops along the vehicle width direction at the rear of a wheel 55. The front surface 23 of the mudflap body 21 faces the wheel 55. The ridges 31, which are provided integrally on the rear surface 25 of the mudflap body 21, extend in lines each along the left end edge, right end edge, and lower end edge of the mudflap body 21 and project rearward. Each ridge 31 at the right and left end edges extends upward from both ends of the ridge at the lower end edge. Protruding height of the ridges 31 from the rear surface 25 of the mudflap body 21 is set larger than the plate thickness of the mudflap body 21. The rear surface 25 and the ridges 31 of the mudflap body 21 forms a cavity 13.
