PURPOSE: To reduce the cost of electronic clock and to improve the reliability thereof by programming properly the switching of display and the selection of digits to be modified, and thereby enabling the reduction of operating members without hindering the operability of the clock.
CONSTITUTION: This multifunction clock performs a plurality of operations of additional functions by using a reference oscillator 20, electronic circuits and an electrooptical display means. That is, it is provided with a sound generating device 25 consisting of a sound selecting circuit 26, a sound driving circuit 27 and a buzzer 28, an alarm memory device 29 consisting of the first to fourth memories 30W33, a coincidence detecting circuit 34, a functional circuit device 35, a display switching circuit 36, a function selecting circuit 37, a digit selecting circuit 38, a modified pulse generating circuit 39 and a function-controlling pulse generating circuit 40. The function selecting circuit performs the call of the state of selection of a plurality of additional functions and of the state of modification of time according to a preset program, and a function selecting switch controls the function selecting circuit, enabling the selections of additional functions and modification of time by one switch.
