Title:
MUSE DECODER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07236127
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of interference such as beats when a MUSE decoder is built in a television by reducing necessary master clock frequency.

CONSTITUTION: Since time extending circuits 36, 44, 50 are respectively connected to frequency conversion circuits 30, 42, 48 for converting a sampling rate from 32.4MHz to 48.6MHz, sampling frequency is converted from 32.4MHz to 44.55MHz by the circuits 30, 42, 48. Thereby main clock frequency necessary for the MUSE decoder 10 becomes 32.4MHz, 16.2MHz, 44.55MHz, and 22.275MHz and necessary master clock frequency becomes 32.4MHz and 44.55MHz.
