Abstract:
To synthesize high-quality and real musical sound signals of musical instruments (piano, harpsichord, guitar, violin, etc.) comprising strings and resonators with a reduced calculation cost.SOLUTION: A musical sound signal synthesizer includes: a musical instrument movement calculation unit (112) for calculating first information indicating force which a moving body exerts on a sound source, second information indicating displacement which the sound source exerts on the moving body, third information indicating force which the sound source exerts on a linear coupling system formed of a musical instrument body and air, and fourth information indicating displacement which the liner coupling system exerts on the sound source; and a musical sound signal calculation unit (113) for calculating sound pressure in an observation point on the basis of the third information. Complex eigenvalue and complex eigenmode, which are modal parameters of the liner coupling system, are calculated by non-linear eigenvalue analysis of the liner coupling system, and the fourth information is calculated by using the complex eigenvalue and the complex eigenmode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
