Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent irregular cooling by dividing a belt sliding surface of a speed changing device into circular-arc parts to which the induction heating coil to be high-frequency quenched is connected by a stepped part, and turning the circular-arc parts relatively to the belt sliding surface to uniformly heat the belt sliding surface. CONSTITUTION: An induction heating coil 10 is provided with e.g. a first fifth circular-arc parts 12a-12e in which center angle of 180 deg. is divided with an equal angle and whose radii from the center are successively larger according to the shape of the belt sliding surface, and a first to fourth adjacent stepped parts 14a-14d to respectively connected these end parts. A first induction heating conductive part 20 containing a semi-circumference coil part 18 along the inner wall surface of a through hole along the axial direction of a pulley is connected to one end part of the fist circular-arc part 12a, and a second induction heating conductive part 21 is connected to one end part of the fifth circular-arc part 12e. This heating coil 10 is relatively turned and displaced to the belt sliding surface of a driving side or driven side pulley mechanism. The belt sliding surface can be uniformly high-frequency heated thereby, and the belt sliding surface can be cooled without generating the irregular cooling.
