PURPOSE: To further thin a flat motor which can suppress the runout of axial runout by forming a thrust bearing out of a radial bearing, which has an end face perpendicular to a rotary shaft, and a holddown member, which is fixed to the rotary shaft.

CONSTITUTION: This motor is equipped with a rotary shaft 22, a radial bearing 21, which bears this pivotal rotary shaft 22 in radial direction, and a holddown member 23, which fixes the rotary shaft 22 and a rotor member 7. Especially, the radial bearing 21 has an end face 21A being made vertically to the rotary shaft 22, and the holddown member 23 has an end face 23A being made vertically to the rotary shaft 22. And, a thrust bearing, which bears the rotor member 7 in the direction of the rotary shaft 22, is constituted by sliding the end face 21A of the radial bearing 21 and the end face 23A of the holddown member 23 on each other. Hereby, the runout in the direction of the rotary shaft at the time of being driven is prevented, and also it can be further thinned.
