Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a varistor excellent in the wet load lifetime without sacrifice of various characteristics thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A varistor element 7 is dipped into a polyvinyl based resin solution to form a resin film 11 of 0.1-10μm thick on the surface thereof except the electrodes 8a, 8b. This method produces a varistor excellent in the wet load lifetime without sacrifice of various characteristics.
