Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a printing plate mounting device easy to repair at the time of the generation of trouble, low in production cost and capable of being also provided to the plate cylinder part of a divided plate cylinder and used in a newspaper printing field.
CONSTITUTION: A groove 1 having an inner wall 11 composed of a circumferential surface having an appropriate inner diameter and opened along the longitudinal direction of the circumferential surface of a plate cylinder in width smaller than the inner diameter and engageable with one bending part of the plate cylinder wherein at least one edge of the opening part becomes a preceding side in printing rotation is provided. The engaging pawl 21 arranged along the groove l and having the revolving guide surface fitted to the inner wall in a revolvable manner and engaged with the other bending part of a printing plate becoming a rear side along a longitudinal direction in printing rotation is formed. The printing plate engaging member 2 having a thickness capable of being extracted from the opening part of the groove 1 inclusive of the part where the engaging pawl 21 is provided and an operation means keeping a revolving phase in such a state that the printing plate engaging member 2 is removed and displaced in the groove 1 and the engaging pawl 21 is engaged with the other bending part of the printing plate are provided.
