Abstract:
PURPOSE: To always form uniform spun yarn by keeping the driving of a spinning unit in a state of operation without load for a prescribed time after feeding a sliver following the restarting of the spinning after the occurrence of yarn breakage and simultaneously suck and remove the fed sliver during the time from the spinning part.
CONSTITUTION: The spinning is restarted after yarn breakage occurs in a spinning unit for passing a sliver (L) through a drafting device composed of a back roller (Rb), the third roller (Rt), the second roller (Rs) and a front roller (Rf), feeding the sliver to a spinning part (Sp) by turning air streams and forming spun yarn (Y). In the process, the feed of the sliver (L) is started and the driving of the spinning unit is kept in a state of operation without load during a period of the maximum time difference of operation dispersion of respective solenoid clutches such as the solenoid clutch (Ch) for driving the back roller (Rb) or the third roller (Rt). Furthermore, the fed sliver (L) is sucked and removed with a nozzle member installed in the spinning part (Sp) in the state of the operation without load. After the passage of a prescribed time, the spinning unit enters the regular operation.
