Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce contact resistance at a connection part without damaging a crimp metal fitting by improving propagation efficiency of ultrasonic energy to the core wire parts of electrical wires.
CONSTITUTION: A crimp metal fitting 22 is provided with a plurality of inward faced projecting parts 21. Thus, the contact area of the crimp metal fitting 22 with the core wire parts 1b, 2b, of electrical wires 1, 2 is increased to effectively propagate ultrasonic energy to the core wire parts 1b, 2b. Thus, short-time energy addition reduces contact resistance without damaging the crimp metal fitting 22.
