Title:
SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING LIGHT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2514308
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To embody a circuit filling the role of the discharge function of stored charges during light reception simply, and to decrease the man-hours of assembly by connecting an optoelectric transducer array between both output electrodes of a transistor on a substrate.
CONSTITUTION: An optoelectric transducer array DA1 is connected in parallel between the source S and drain D of a thin-film transistor T1. A light- interrupted photoconductor RA1 is bonded between the control electrode G and drain D of the thin-film transistor T1 and a photoconductor RA2 not light- interrupted between the control electrode G and source S of the thin-film transistor T1 respectively. Consequently, one optoelectric transducer array is used and a plurality of optoelectric transducers generating photo-voltage are connected in series in the same direction in the array in a light control circuit employing the semiconductor device. Accordingly, the circuit filling the role of the discharge function of stored charges during the light reception of the optoelectric transducer can be realized simply.
