Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the filtration efficiency of a filter press by allowing even cohesive cake which gives vibration to a filter cloth to drop extremely rapidly and positively by direct stroking of the rears of opposite-positioned filter cloths when the cake is removed by opening a filter plate after filtration.
CONSTITUTION: The cake removal device is equipped with paired front and rear arms 20, 20 having filter cloth stroking members 21, 21, an arm fluctuating means 30 and its lifting mechanism provided on the mobile means 6 of a filter press. If a filter plate is opened after filtration, the filter cloth stroking members 21, 21 are drawn out in a roughly chereron mark shape and positioned at both outer front and rear outer sides above the opposed filter cloths 10a, 10b. Next, the arms 20, 20 with the filter cloth stroking members 21, 21 are allowed to descend by activation of a lifting mechanism 40. Further, the arms 20, 20 are opened and closed by activation of the arm fluctuating means 30, and both filter cloths 10a, 10b are directly stroked by the cloth stroking members 21, 21 from the rear on the opposite side of a cake-sticking surface to cause vibration.
