Abstract:
PURPOSE: To establish a control method which enables selection and conveyance without any selection error as the control method for the automatic exchanging device which selects and conveys the disk type recording medium by an elevator mechanism and loads or unloads the medium on and from a player.
CONSTITUTION: The control means 26 for the elevator mechanism 4a finds the level of the output Hp of a position sensor S8 before starting driving its driving means 25. When the level varies exceeding a predetermined specific level VTH, said driving means 25 is driven in the opposite direction from a target movement direction and the driving means is moved to a target position and stopped based on an origin position LL, (UL) given by an origin sensor S3a, (S4a) in the direction. When the level of the output Hp of said position sensor S8 varies without exceeding the predetermined specific level, the driving means 25 is driven in the target movement direction to the target position and stopped.
