PURPOSE: To cheaply prevent peeling off of a glaze, uneven color development and crack generation by glazing, at a given temperature, on a surface of an inorganic shaped article composed of cement powders and inorganic powders containing a glass component and then baking.
CONSTITUTION: An inorganic shaped body 3 is put on a conveying mean 2 such as a metal roll conveyer, etc., in a curing dry oven 1 and the shaped body is aged and dried for 10-40 hours to hydrate and cure by 60-200°C hot air which is blown into from around an exit of the oven 1 and ventilated from an inlet of the oven 1. After a surface of the obtained shaped body 3 is heated over 50°C, a glaze 11 is applied by a glazing spray 10 and baked to produce an inorganic baked body.
