Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a nucleus arsenic-contg. bamboo salt which exhibits remarkable effects as a treatment medicine for the digestive systems and bronchial systems and is also excellent as a material for bamboo salt soy source, bamboo salt miso (miso is usually fermented soybean paste), etc., by packing sun dried salts into raw bamboos and baking the salts. CONSTITUTION: The bamboo shoots grown for >=3 years are bored with holes one side and are successively cut between the joints so as to be closed with the others on the other side and, thereafter, the sun dried salts, more preferably the sun dried salts made at the Yellow sea shores in the Western shores of Korea are packed into the raw bamboo cylinders. The openings of the raw bamboo cylinder are then closed with good-quality clay and the raw bamboo cylinders are so disposed that the parts packed with the clay exist upside. The bamboos are then baked by using the firewood of pines as fuel until the bamboos are completely burned. The sun dried salts are thereafter taken out and are again packed into the raw bamboo cylinders. The sun dried salts are similarly baked plural times, more preferably 8 times and are heated to high heat by using colophonium as the fuel in the 9th time. The sun died salts are baked until the ashes of the raw bamboos do not remain any more. The formed lumps of the salts are made into powder.
