Abstract:
PURPOSE:To control a mobile actuator and to attain the real-time traveling of a mobile robot without always actuating a means which makes the complicated action plans of the robot by merging plural types of action commands with each other for various actions of the robot. CONSTITUTION:A mobile robot control system consists of a danger avoiding part 1 which responds to the reflective actions of a mobile robot R, a safe area traveling part 2 which responds to the intellectual and semi-intellectual actions of the robot R, a noted area following part 3, and a mobile actuator control part 4 which directly controls the movement of each robot R. In such a constitution, the functions necessary for movement of the robot are turned into a cluster and merged with each other at the part 4. An action command consists of the moving direction and the moved distance of the robot R. Meanwhile the internal states like the processing failure/end, etc., are transmitted through the connection secured between both parts 1 and 2. The interference is basically caused between the intellectual and reflective actions via the part 4.
