Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect the present own position accurately by comparing a position detection accuracy based on an autonomous type data and a position detectioning accuracy based on a GPS data to select a higher accuracy. CONSTITUTION:An origin O (X0, Y0) of rectangular coordinates comprising X and Y axes indicates the current position of a moving body at a specified time and this is a GPS data obtained accurately from a satellite. Thereafter, a point A as given when a specified time passes is a true current position of the moving body at the moment and an error range in detecting of positions with a bearing sensor 2 is included in a circle 21 as indicated by the single-dot chain line and error range according to the GPS data in a circle 22 as indicated by the solid line. After the movement of the moving body is started, a GPS reception is performed and when a three-dimensional measurement of position is determined, the current GPS position data D (XG, YG) of the moving body is stored to calculate a moving distance lGPS of the moving body by a formula I.
