Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect the current own position accurately by performing a correction processing of an autonomous type data with the integration of a GPS data obtained in time series. CONSTITUTION:It is assumed that a moving body moves almost parallel with an X axis on a plate prescribed by rectangular coordinates comprising X and Y axes. Here, a curve 21 is a true moving path of the moving body, a curve 22 a moving path of the moving body determined by a GPS navigation operation and a curve 23 a moving path of the moving body determined by an autonomous type navigation operation. After the movement of the moving body is started, position/ time data (X0, Y0, Z0 and t0) based on a GPS navigation is stored and following the reception of a GPS, a three-dimensional measurement of positions is confirmed. Then, position/time data (X, Y, Z and t) of the moving object at the moment are stored to calculate a three-dimensional moving dis tance l of the moving body by the formula I. Then, the correction of a running distance value is performed with a running distance sensor 1 used in the opera tion of an autonomous type navigation operation, thereby detecting the current position accurately.
