Abstract:

To automatically open and close a door of a motor-driven garage, without operating a remote controller, and avoid malfunctioning.

This apparatus 10 allows a wireless garage door opener transmitter 50 to be connected. The apparatus 10 transmits an open signal to the opener transmitter 50 when the position of a vehicle calculated by a GPS receiver 24 and the bearing detected by a gyro sensor 40 are approximately coincide with predetermined instructed open position and bearing and the vehicle speed detected by a vehicle speed sensor 38 is below a specified value. This makes it possible to prevent the motor-driven garage's door from being opened by mistake, even if anyone approaches to the motor-driven garage for other purpose than entering the garage.
