Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a new peptide having ACE inhibitory activity, usable as a nutritive preparation or specific health food, also advantageously usable as a hypotensive agent.
CONSTITUTION: This new peptide comprises a fraction which can be obtained by ODS treatment of a peptide produced by alkali protease treatment of fish meat followed by eluting the product with an aqueous 0-20% ethanol solution.
