Abstract:
To provide a nickel-based alloy suited for the production of high-strength and corrosion-resistant engineering artefacts via AM processes, in particular for applications where high-temperature strength (tensile strength, creep strength) beyond 650°C is required.SOLUTION: A nickel-based alloy composition comprises, in weight percentage, 1.0-3.5% of aluminum, 0.0-3.6% of titanium, 0.0-6.0% of niobium, 0.0-4.9% of tantalum, 0.0-5.4% of tungsten, 0.0-4.0% of molybdenum, 8.9-30.0% of cobalt, 10.8-20.6% of chromium, carbon, boron, zirconium, rhenium, ruthenium, iridium, vanadium, palladium, platinum, silicon, yttrium, lanthanum, cerium, sulfur, manganese, iron, copper, hafnium, and the balance being nickel and inevitable impurities.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
