This noise reduction structure is furnished with the grill and a disc type noise insulating material placed roughly in parallel on an internal wall on the internal wall of the engine compartment to wrap an engine for a vehicle. Additionally, this noise reduction structure is constituted to set a clearance between the noise insulating material and the internal wall so that a first acoustic wave toward a breather through between the noise insulating material and the internal wall from a sound source and a second acoustic wave which is an acoustic wave toward the breather from the sound source and other than the first acoustic wave interfere with each other in the neighborhood of the breather.
