To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte that reduces the initial input resistance of a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery and inhibits gas generation in the battery.SOLUTION: A non-aqueous electrolyte contains an electrolyte, a non-aqueous solvent, and a compound represented by the formula (I) in the figure.
