PURPOSE: To use the titled non-woven fabric in a surface polishing stage for a flexible magnetic disk, etc., so that a missing error, etc., are hardly generated by specifying the contents of rayon and propylene respectively to 60W85% and 15W40% as constituting elements of the non-woven fabric.

CONSTITUTION: The contents of the rayon and propylene are respectively specified to 60W85% and 15W40% as the constituting components. The adhesive strength among fibers decreases and flocs are liable to be formed if the content of the rayon is ≥85%. An adequate cleaning effect is not obtainable in such a case. The detachment of the propylene is caused by the mechanical oscillation during cleaning of the flexible magnetic disk if the content of the propylene is ≥40%. The flawed surface of the flexible magnetic disk and the sticking of fiber dust to the surface are then caused and the adequate cleaning effect is not obtainable.
