Abstract:

To prevent the deterioration in battery characteristics due to charge/ discharge cycles.

This nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is composed of a positive electrode containing a manganese oxide or a lithium manganese composite oxide, a negative electrode containing lithium metal, a lithium alloy, a material capable of doping/undoping lithium, and an electrolyte containing at least two kinds of electrolyte salts, and the electrolyte contains 0.005-0.3 mol/L LiBF4 as one kind of the electrolyte salts. Thereby, a cycle characteristic is enhanced.
