To obtain object position and velocity measuring and processing equipment wherein a passing vehicle is unnecessary, a camera parameter of high precision can be obtained instantaneously, and object position and velocity can be measured by using the camera parameter.
This equipment is provided with an ITV camera 10, a frame memory 11 for capturing an input image which is picked up with the ITV camera, a reference point position information accommodating part 12 in which reference point position information in the image is accommodated, a camera parameter calculating part 13 which calculates camera parameter by using the input image captured in the frame memory and the reference point position information accommodated in the accommodating part, an image reference information accommodating part 15 in which image reference information is accommodated, and an object position and velocity measuring part 14 which measures object position and velocity by using the input image captured in the frame memory, a camera parameter calculated by the camera parameter calculating part, and image reference information accommodated in the image reference information accommodating part.
