Title:
OIL DETERIORATION DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6144339
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To detect the deterioration degree of oil, by detecting the change in resistance value of an organic resistor, which is eluted and deteriorated in the oil.

CONSTITUTION: An oil-deterioration detecting element 1 is a resistor, which is eluted in oil. The deterioration of the oil is detected by measuring the resistance value of the resistor. In this oil deterioration detecting element, conductivity is imparted by dispersing metal particles, graphite particles and the like into an organic material such as, e.g., chloroprene rubber, styrene/acrylonitrile copolymer, ethylene-propylene rubber, chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber, styrene butadiene rubber, butyl rubber, polystyrene and polyacetal. The oil deterioration detecting element 1 is bonded to lead electrodes 2 made of conducting epoxy resin or the like, supported by an insulating supporter 3 made of aluminum or the like and protected by a protecting cover 6 having small holes 7.
