Abstract:

To provide an inexpensive oil feeding pipe superior in salt damage corrosion resistance and a method of manufacturing the same.

This oil feeding pipe is composed of a steel pipe member and a metal fitting part with ferrite-based stainless steel as a raw material, which includes C:≤0.015%, Si:0.01-0.50%, Mn:0.01-0.50%, P≤0.050%, S:≤0.010%, N:≤0.015%, Al:0.010-0.100% and Cr:13.0-18.0%, and also includes one kind or two kinds of Ti:0.03-0.30% and Nb:0.03-0.30%. The oil feeding pipe has a clearance structure part on a surface exposed to a salt damage environment between the metal fitting part and the steel pipe member, and is characterized in that an opening quantity in a clearance part of the clearance structure part is 0.2 mm or more, and the inside of the clearance part is covered with electrodeposition coating, The method of manufacturing the oil feeding pipe is provided for installing a metal fitting in an oil feeding pipe body in a state of arranging this projection inside a clearance, by arranging the projection having a height of 0.2 mm or more on a surface opposed to the steel pipe member of the metal fitting part.
