PURPOSE: To obtain a non-emulsified type tip overcoat capable of preventing rouge from sticking on e.g. a cup and excellent in the function to improve the color sustainability of rouge, comprising a metallic soap and/or acylated amino acid, a polyhydric alcohol, water, an oil and an alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymer.

CONSTITUTION: This tip overcoat is obtained by incorporating a total of 0.1-20wt.% of water and an oil (pref. dimethylpolysiloxane) with a total of 0.05-40wt.% of a metallic soap of formula (RCOO)2M (R is a 10-24C aliphatic hydrocarbon; M is a metal except Na, K, Rb, Cs and Fr) (pref. zinc laurate) and/or an acylated amino acid (pref. lauroyllysine) and 0.025-90wt.% of a polyhydric alcohol (e.g. propylene glycol) and 0.001-1wt.% of an alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymer as emulsifier (e.g. an acrylic alkyl ester copolymer).
