Abstract:
To provide an omni wheel capable of reducing vibration to be generated at each barrel due to undulation, inclination, or slip on a travel road surface when in use.
In an omni wheel 1, a plurality of support legs 4, 5, and 6 with a branched tip part are extended radially from a central portion of a barrel frame, and the support legs 4, 5, and 6 are mutually displaced and fixed along a circumferential direction. A barrel 3 is rotatably pivoted by a barrel support shaft pivoted respectively among the support legs 4, 5, and 6 of each barrel frame. The barrel support shaft is pivoted among the support legs 4, 5, and 6 through a buffer device. The buffer device relaxes a load on the barrel support shaft.
