Abstract:
To provide an operation method for a fusion furnace capable of improving recovery efficiency of useful metal contained in an object to be treated.SOLUTION: An operation method for a fusion furnace comprising a furnace chamber 4 in which an object to be treated containing useful metal is put from an upstream side, and fused slag generated by fusing the object to be treated from a surface by a heating mechanism 8 provided on a furnace ceiling 5 flows down toward a downstream side, and a slag hole 7 that discharges the fused slag having flowed down, comprises: putting base material particles containing a metal component that forms an alloy with useful metal in a fused state into the object to be treated, to aggregate fused metal generated by the fusion process into the base material particles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
