Abstract:
PURPOSE:To aim at optimization of a whole system, in the lube oil supply facility for supplying oil to a steam turbine bearing provided with an emergency oil pump driven by an alternating current electric motor, by supplying lube oil pressure and the oil amount meeting each situation with free changeover of ejecting pressure of the emergency oil pump. CONSTITUTION:On the occasion of turning operation of a steam turbine, an emergency oil pump 3 is operated through a starter 8. Since continuous turning is necessary, a rotating speed changeover device 15 is switched to a high rotating speed side. A battery 7 which is the power source of the emergency oil pump 3, is enabled to make continuous operation of the emergency oil pump 3 by being charged continuously from a normally used A.C power supply 4 and an emergency A.C power supply 5. When the normally used A.C power supply 4 is cut off, the emergency A.C power 5 is made to turn on as a backup, but until the prescribed time for making turning the power on a rotational speed changeover device 15 is switched to a low rotational speed side, and the turbine is stopped in safety as well as power consumption in the battery 7 is reduced.
