Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the filling ability of a powder packaging machine equipped with a screw feeder and a filling screw by regulating the operating conditions of a sack filling machine quickly at the time of steep variation of the load, for example when the sort of the powder is changed, and establishing the machine operation in which a sufficient load is applied at all times.
CONSTITUTION: From a screw feeder 14, powder is fed to a filling screw 16, whereby sack is filled. The quantity of the filling powder is measured automatically, and when the measurement reaches the set value, the filled sack is dropped automatically. In this powder packaging machine 11 on the filling system, a constant quantity supply is made by controlling the revolving speed of the screw feeder so that the load current of the filling screw lies within the preset rated amperage having a certain range. When thereafter the filling speed of the second stage filling screw is to be decelerated steplessly, the revolving speed is decreased so that the load current is kept some over zero.
