Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a black image of a high optical density at an excellent recording property by projecting droplets of a liquid image-wise onto a receiving material, and bringing a reducible metal compound, a reducing agent for the metal compound, and p physical development nuclei which performs a catalyst work for the reduction into a working relationship on the receiving material.
CONSTITUTION: When an ink jet printing is performed, the following processes are included. That is, droplets of a liquid are projected image-wise on a receiving material. Then, a reducible metal compound (A), a reducing agent (B) for the metal compound, and a physical development nuclei (C) which performs a catalyst work for the reduction to a metal of the metal compound are brought into a working relationship on the receiving material. In this case, the physical development nuclei (C) is made to exist on the receiving material, and at least one member of the metal compound (A) and the reducing agent (B) exist in the droplets, and in the meantime, remaining members exist in the receiving material; or both of the metal compound (A) and the reducing agent (B) exist on the receiving material, and alkali exists in the droplets.
