Abstract:

To provide an ophthalmologic instrument automatically executing a wide-range and highly precise alignment.

A control means (a control circuit 70) divides an image captured by an image pickup device (a CCD camera 16) into a plurality of light detection areas (A1-A4 and A1-A16), finds a mean light quantity value (for example, Lav1-Lav4 or Lav1, Lav2, Lav5 and Lav6) by reflected light from the cornea for every detection area (for example A1-A4 or A1, A2, A5 and A6), compares the found means light quantity values (for example Lav1-Lav4 or Lav1, Lav2, Lav5 and Lav6) of the detection areas (for example A1-A4 or A1, A2, A5 and A6) with one another, and drivingly controls a three-dimensional driving means (a three-dimensional driving unit having motors 74-76) in the direction of increasing the mean light quantity value of the detection area with low mean light quantity vale.
