Abstract:
To provide an optical cross connecting system having rapidity, complete non-blockage and a simple constitution in a system for cross connecting an optical wavelength multiplexing signal.
The optical cross connecting system comprises an address detector inputting (n) pieces of wavelength components of optical wavelength multiplexing as input lights, an optical diffusion unit, and a condenser unit for outputting (m) pieces of wavelength components perpendicularly crossed with the optical diffusion unit, by controlling switching of a space lattice matrix of an optical shutter by obtaining information from the detector and connection information.
