Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayered optical data memory medium which can be accessed by an optical head and in which each data has high transmitting property.
SOLUTION: The optical recording medium 12 has multilayered data layers consisting of a plurality of substrates 50, 56, 62, etc., each separated by an air gap 78. The data faces 90, 92, 94, etc., are formed on the surfaces of the substrates adjacent to the air gap. The data face has a coating of an optical data recording material but does not have a reflection layer known by conventional technique.
