Abstract:
PURPOSE:To safely and easily lay an optical fiber by pushing an optical fiber composite pipe composed of an internal plastic pipe, an external plastic pipe covering it, and an optical fiber cable provided between them, into a conduit to be laid. CONSTITUTION:The optical fiber composite pipe 4 is formed in such a manner that the internal plastic pipe 1, the external plastic pipe 3, and the proper number of the optical fiber cables 2 provided between both pipes 1 and 3, are provided. Both pipes 1 and 3 are made of polyethylene and vinyl which are light and have strong rigidity, and the cable 2 is provided in a spiral or snake shape, with extra length so as not to be folded when both pipes 1 and 3 are bent. The optical fiber composite cable 4 is pushed into the existing power cable conduit to be laid, so that the cable 4 can be safely and easily laid without damaging the optical fiber 2 by tension.
