Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce a production cost by dividing a filter into plural pieces and disposing filter pieces of different characteristics according to the position of the filter pieces. CONSTITUTION:Plural filter pieces 51, 52A, 52B, 53A, 53B having different spectral characteristics are shaped into strip shapes longer than a prescribed width W. In these pieces, each A, A or B, B means a same configuration of the filter. Then these filter pieces 51 - 53 are arranged in a manner that the longitudinal sides of each piece are in contact with others. Then these filter pieces 51 - 53 are sandwiched between two glass plates 54, 55, each having one side almost same as the length of the pieces 51 - 53 and the other side almost same as the filter length L, and adhered unitedly. This body is then cut along virtual lines C1, C2 to obtain interference filters 21, 22, 23 each having prescribed width W and comprising plural pieces 31 - 33 and glass plates 34, 35.
