PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection type image display device that avoids a disadvantage in terms of cost and weight, prevents a deterioration in optical performance of a lens unit, and prevents shaking of a projection image.SOLUTION: A straight advance groove included in a lens unit is arranged at a phase shifted from a vertical position, and the lens unit is reinforced from the vertical direction, and thereby avoiding shaking of an image due to vibration in the vertical direction transmitted from the exterior.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
