Abstract:
To provide an optical member capable of blocking light incident in a specific direction and transmitting most of light incident in other directions and capable of suppressing a diffraction phenomenon.SOLUTION: An optical member 1 includes: an optical shape layer 20 in which a unit optical shape 21 is arranged in a plurality of numbers on one surface 20a; and a light-shielding part 30 provided between adjoining unit optical shapes 21. In a cross section parallel to the arrangement direction of the unit optical shapes 21 and parallel to the thickness direction of the optical member 1, the unit optical shape 21 includes a first surface 22 located on the one surface 20a and a second surface 23 with an end edge on the one surface side being coincident with one end of the first surface 22. An angle θ4 formed between the thickness direction and a straight line S passing through another end 22a of the first surface 22 of the unit optical shape 21 and an end edge 23a on the opposite side to the one surface side of the second surface 23 is constant in the arrangement direction of the unit optical shapes 21, and is smaller than the critical angle of the unit optical shape. An arrangement pitch P of the light-shielding part 30 is not constant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
