Title:
OPTICAL PRINTER AND METHOD FOR OPERATING OFFSET AMOUNT OF OPTICAL PRINTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3166662
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a color shift and simplify installation of a printer head, by calculating an arrangement distance of monochromatic head modules based on a peak value of light of each monochromatic head module when the printer head moves and an offset amount corresponding to the arrangement distance on the basis of an alignment pitch of light emission dots.
SOLUTION: An electric signal from a photodetecting element through an A/D converter is output to a control CPU 22. When a comparison means 33 detects that a photodetection amount becomes not smaller than a reference amount, an interruption signal is output to an interruption counter 34. A count value latched by a latch circuit 32 is stored in a memory means 36 and output from a count value read means 37 to a head interval calculation means 38. The head interval calculation means 38 calculates a head interval of R-, G-, B-heads on the basis of the count value and a feed speed of a printer head. An offset amount calculation means 39 calculates image transmission offset amounts F1, F2 on the basis of the head interval and an alignment pitch of light emission dots.
