Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently mass-produce a standardized optical probe element and a recording/reproducing device using the optical probe element by forming an optical probe on a plane substrate utilizing the semiconductor process technique.
SOLUTION: An optical probe 3 is made of a projection nearly in a conical shape being made of a light transmission material and a reflection film 2 being formed on the conical surface of the projection excluding the tip part of the projection, thus mass-producing an optical probe element 20 being formed on one surface of a plane substrate 1 that is made of the light transmission material and the recording/reproducing device using the optical probe element 20.
