Abstract:
To provide an optical recording medium which can record a high contrast/sharp image and shows the excellent fastness of a recorded image, a visible information recording method and a usage of a coloring matter compound.
This optical recording medium has the visible information recording layer formed on a substrate, and contains the coloring matter compound represented by formula (1) as a heat-sensitive coloring matter.
