Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable adaptation to an increase in optical data transfer rate by preventing the pressing force of an optical connector ferrule from exerting influence directly on the optical semiconductor element package.
SOLUTION: The optical semiconductor element module consisting of a case 10 which stores and holds the optical semiconductor element package and allows to the optical connector ferrule to be inserted and held has a stopper ring 20 arranged between the optical semiconductor element package and optical connector ferrule in the case. This stopper ring 20 is formed in a shape having a plane part on the side of the optical semiconductor element package 30 and a cylindrical part on the side of the optical connector ferrule and fixed and held in the case by being pressed in.
