Abstract:

To provide a new compound capable of being utilized as a catalyst for a C-C bond-forming reaction such as Michael reaction, an aldol condensation, etc., catalyzing these reactions effectively and capable of synthesizing a desired compound in a high optical yield.

This optically active pyrrolidine derivative is expressed by formula (1) [wherein, (n) is an integer of 0-2; * is an optically active position].
