Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable calcium supplement solution for an animal comprising calcium at a high concentration with slight irritation to living bodies.
SOLUTION: This oral calcium solution at the high concentration for the animal comprises an organic acid calcium salt as a calcium source in an amount of 10-50 wt.% based on the amount of the solution and at least one of lactic acid, sodium lactate and calcium lactate as a lactic acid source in an amount of ≥5 wt.% based on the calcium source in the solution comprising the calcium at the high concentration for the animal and the method for producing the oral calcium solution for the animal.
