Title:
ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3266573
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve light emitting luminance, and to lengthen the service life in an organic EL element.
SOLUTION: In an organic EL element having a structure by laminating a cathode layer 16, an electron implanting area 14, a light emitting area 12 and an anode layer 10 in order, an aromatic ring compound composed of carbon and hydrogen or an aromatic ring compound composed of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen and reducing dopant are included in the electron implanting area 14, and electron affinity of the electron implanting area is set to a value in a range of 1.8 to 3.6 eV, or an electron transporting compound and reducing dopant having a work function not more than 2.9 eV are included in the electron implanting area 14, and electron affinity of the electron implanting area is set to a value in a range of 1.8 to 3.6 eV.
