To provide an output state informing device of an engine for a snowplow that accurately determines an output state of an engine with a simple constitution and informs an operator of it, hence reduces the burden of the operator, and suppresses damage of the engine or a power transmitting system and reduction of working efficiency.
The output state informing device estimates output occurrence rate OP rate of the engine 22 based on the detected values of engine speed NE and throttle opening θTH (S20), compares the estimated output occurrence rate OP rate with a first predetermined value #OP rate1 and a second predetermined value #OP rate 2 set at a value larger than #OP rate 1, and determines based on the comparing result which state of a low output state, a rating output state, and an over output state the engine output state is (S22, S24). Then, the output state informing device informs the operator of the engine output state, by turning on or off a rating output indicating lamp and an over output indicating lamp in response to the determining result (S14, S26, S30).
